むにむに製作所のむにむにとは唯一無二という意味で、自分がこんな風になりたいという思いを実現した自分だけのオリジナルマスクを作ってほしいという思いが込められています。

Munimuni Workshop was founded about 10 years ago to spread the joy of mask cosplay.

The name “Munimuni” in Munimuni Workshop means “one of a kind,” and it embodies our hope that you’ll create your very own original mask that brings to life your vision of how you want to be.

Additionally, the butterfly in our logo symbolizes our wish that, just as a caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly when it puts on a mask, you too will undergo a transformation.

We hope you, too, will undergo a magnificent transformation with a mask from Munimuni Workshop.

日本ではきぐるみマスク・美少女マスクなどと呼ばれます。また海外ではKigurumi、Animegaoなどと呼ばれたりします。
マスクを被り、タイツで身体を覆うことで性別や年齢にとらわれることなくコスプレを楽しむことができます。
コスプレイベントに参加したり、友達同士で集まって写真を取り合うなどの楽しみ方の他、マスクを被らずとも好きなキャラクターや理想の顔を作って楽しまれています。

At Munimuni Workshop, we offer a wide selection of products that come with pre-applied makeup on the masks and include wigs.

We also offer masks that come as blank canvases, so you can choose your favorite mask, lens eyes, eyeliner stickers, and wig, then decorate them yourself to create your ideal mask.

アニメタイプはレンズアイの上部が透けていて覗くことができます。
ドールタイプはスリットから外を見ることができます。
視界を広げたい場合や、目線が合わない場合はマスクのデザインやご自分の目線に合わせて、二重瞼のあたりや、まゆ毛にスリットを開ける加工をすることができます。
視界は狭いため、練習や慣れ、他の人のサポートが必要になってきます。
With the anime-style mask, the upper part of the lens eye is see-through, allowing you to look out.

With the doll-style mask, you can see outside through a slit.

If you want to widen your field of vision or if your line of sight doesn’t align properly, you can have a slit cut near the double eyelid or along the eyebrow line to match the mask’s design or your own line of sight.

Because the field of vision is narrow, you’ll need to practice, get used to it, and rely on support from others.

頭の大きさは人によってさまざまです。
もしマスクを被ってみてきつく感じたら、内側に付いているスポンジをを取り除くか薄くカットしてみるとより快適になるかもしれません。
マスクを被ってみて頭が中で動いてしまうようであれば、キッチンスポンジやタオルなどを詰めて動かないように工夫すればより快適に楽しむことができます。
Head sizes vary from person to person.

If the mask feels too tight when you try it on, you might find it more comfortable if you remove the foam padding inside or trim it down to make it thinner.

If your head moves around inside the mask when you try it on, you can stuff it with a kitchen sponge or a towel to keep it in place, which will make it more comfortable to wear.

女性の方は全身タイツを着用されない方も多くいらっしゃいます。
また、下半身はロングスカートやズボン、タイツなどを履くと露出が無くなりますので、上半身だけのタイツを選ばれることもございます。
男性の場合は手の質感や毛、喉仏などが出やすいので全身タイツを着用されることを推奨しております。
同じように下半身を出さないキャラになりきる場合は上半身タイツだけでもいいかもしれません。
どちらにいたしましてもマスクと出ている肌の部分の色が違い過ぎるとおかしく見えますので、それを考慮して着用の是非をお考えくださいね。
Many women choose not to wear full-body tights.

Also, since wearing a long skirt, pants, or tights on the lower body covers up any exposed skin, some women opt to wear tights only on their upper body.

For men, since the texture of the hands, body hair, and the Adam’s apple are easily visible, we recommend wearing full-body tights.

Similarly, if you’re portraying a character who doesn’t expose their lower body, upper-body tights alone might be sufficient.

In either case, if the color of the mask differs too much from the exposed skin, it will look odd, so please keep that in mind when deciding whether to wear them.

むにむに製作所ではソフトビニール（PVC）で作られたマスクと繊維強化プラスチック（FRP）で作られたマスクの２種類をご準備しております。

・PVCマスク

美少女マスクを作っている工房は多数ございますが、ソフビで作られているのは弊社だけの特別素材です。
むにむに製作所では13型ございますのであなたの好きな造形がきっと見つかります。

温めると柔らかくなるという特性を生かして切ったり穴を開けたりなどの加工がしやすいという特徴がございます。一般的な化粧品や色鉛筆、マーカーなどで装飾できます。

温かい場所に置いておくと歪みやすいという欠点がございます。

・FRPマスク

ソフビより硬く作られておりますのでより丈夫になっております。
むにむに製作所では4型のご準備がございます。
穴を開けるなどの加工は比較的難しく、特別な工具を使って行います。
パテ盛りなどの造形を変える加工がしやすい上級者向けの素材です。

落としたりすると欠けてしまうという欠点がございます。

・PVC Masks

While there are many workshops that make cute girl masks, ours are the only ones made from soft vinyl—a special material exclusive to our company.

MuniMuni Workshop offers 13 different models, so you’re sure to find a design you love.

Taking advantage of the material’s property of softening when heated, these masks are easy to cut, punch holes in, and otherwise customize. You can decorate them with standard cosmetics, colored pencils, markers, and more.

One drawback is that they tend to warp if left in a warm place.

・FRP Masks

These are made stiffer than soft vinyl, making them more durable.

Munimuni Workshop offers 4 different models.

Modifying them—such as drilling holes—is relatively difficult and requires special tools.

This material is best suited for advanced users who want to alter the shape through techniques like applying putty.

One drawback is that they can chip if dropped.
